Leaving behind his nice guy persona on the hugely popular FOX television show Glee, actor/singer/musician Chord Overstreet takes his second turn in a feature film – assuming a darker side as Dupree – in A Warrior’s Heart.

Overstreet graduated from high school in 2007 with an eye on Hollywood. He landed several small guest appearances on various television shows, such as Private (2009) and iCarly (2009), before fate (and his manager) sent him on an open casting call for the FOX television show Glee (an enormous hit, now in its third season), in the role of quarterback-turned-choral club member Sam “Trout Mouth” Evans.

Overstreet’s debut performance on the season premiere of the second season earned him critical and commercial praise, along with a large following of dedicated and loving fans. He was named one of People magazine's “Sexiest Men Alive” in 2010.

Overstreet has also been seen in the horror film The Hole (2009) and in such other popular television series as The Middle (2011) and No Ordinary Family (2010).

As a teen, he appeared in commercials for Gap and Famous Footwear.

Overstreet was born in Nashville to mother, Julie, a make-up artist and Paul, a country musician, who raised their five children in a creative and music filled environment. He plays the mandolin, flute, drums and guitar.
